Masunaga Occhiali

Nel 1905 a Fukui, in Giappone, Gozaemon Masunaga ha creato una delle più floride e antiche fabbriche di occhiali con i più esperti artigiani del territorio.
E' una delle pochissime aziende ad avere all'interno del proprio stabilimento tutto ciò di cui necessita, cosicchè tutti i processi evolutivi, dalle materie prime alla produzione e finitura avvengano in modo integrato.
In tal modo è possibile mantenere altissimi standard qualitativi e prendersi cura dei più piccoli dettagli.

Masunaga Occhiali da Sole

Le collezioni Masunaga hanno un design senza tempo, sono classici ma sempre al passo con i tempi.
Negli occhiali da sole Masunaga ritroviamo il tatto, il rigore, il sapore e l'eleganza tipici del territorio in cui nascono.

Masunaga Occhiali da Vista

Gli occhiali da vista Masunaga sono delle vere e proprie opere d’arte.
Nelle produzioni senza tempo di Masunaga scorgiamo anche una interessantissima collaborazione con lo stilista Kenzo Takada, il quale riesce a donare ancora più ricchezza e ricercatezza con un tocco di modernità.
Alcuni modelli di questa collaborazione, composti da titanio, acetato e oro 24 carati, hanno addirittura vinto il Silmo d'Or.

Masunaga Eyewear

Sono necessari più di 200 processi manuali per creare un occhiale Masunaga Eyewear. Si lavora leggerissimo beta titanio giapponese e lastre di acetato fatte stagionare per sei mesi , poi finemente lucidati a mano con un impasto di argilla che rende il prodotto estremamente vellutato.

Masunaga Optical, fondata da Gozaemon Masunaga, ha portato nel 1905 abili artigiani a Fukui, regione dove si produce il 97% delle montature di occhiali da vista giapponesi. Molto di più di un semplice stilista giapponese di occhiali, siamo di fronte ad un'azienda leader capace di coniugare design, tecnologia e tradizione artigiana. Occhiali in Titanio Giapponese così come montature in pregiato acetato fanno di questo brand un fiore all'occhiello dell'eyewear internazionale.

Great place to buy exclusive glasses, I found this shop thanks a ads on Instagram and I suddenly went there.I found very polite staff and wonderful glasses. I made my personal birthday present! Great choice.The shop is very easy to find and reachable from the Florence historical center. (25 minutes walking or 10 minute by a cub).I hope to come back when I will travel to Florence again.

Their selection is INCREDIBLE, they pick the best designer creations from all over the world, from Brazil to Japan.The staff is prepared on all levels, they will help you find the perfect shades for you and eventually create your prescription lenses.Go visit them, you won't regret it.PS. They also own a concept store in the city center called DENTRO, a perfect spot for who wants to have a chat over a coffee!

I was never so excited to wear glasses until I met Simone. I used to have one pair of glasses that lasted a couple of years, but with Simone's selection and his ability to help you choose the right frames and cool lenses, I have several pairs that really suit my different moods and outfits. The high level of customer service and efficiency are not something easily found in Florence and it is always a pleasure visiting Bottega di Sguardi...and it's the place in Florence to buy any type of glasses.

He’s not only an amazing owner and seller but also a great creative for his unique models, together with more famous but not commercial brands that he can propose you.Giulia, his sales assistant, is also a plus in this store, engaging and entertaining everyone with passion and enthusiasm for her work and with lots of patient to find what’s the best for you.Also during this difficult time of lockdown, he has been able to guarantee a customized service, sending at home 10 pieces to choose between and taking care of all the shipping costs.Wherever I go people ask me for my glasses to know where I found them and I always proudly say they come from this amazing guy in Florence.
